手がけたのはクリスティアーヌ・ヴォーゼル(Christiane Vauzelles)。エルメスのカレを数多く手がけてきたデザイナーの一人で、動物モチーフを気品高く描くことを得意としています。
1977年に生まれた、二本の黄金の椰子と虎
「王者の虎(Tigre Royal)」は1977年、クリスティアーヌ・ヴォーゼルによってデザインされました。中央に堂々と佇む虎を、左右対称に配された二本の黄金の椰子の木が額縁のように囲む、荘厳かつ気品あふれる構図が特徴です。発表から半世紀近く経った今も色褪せない人気を誇り、これまでに数え切れないほどのカラーバリエーションで再販されてきた、エルメスを代表するアイコンのひとつです。
今回ご紹介する「フルーリ」バージョンは、このアイコニックな構図に花柄をプラスした特別編集版。王者の風格と華やかさが同居した、コレクターにも人気の一枚です。

Today, we are pleased to present a never-used, carefully preserved vintage Carré 70, “Tigre Royal Fleuri.”
Created in 1977 by Christiane Vauzelles, “Tigre Royal” is one of Hermès’ most iconic animal motifs. This particular “Fleuri” version brings an additional touch of floral elegance to the celebrated design.
About the Designer: Christiane Vauzelles
The designer behind this remarkable carré is Christiane Vauzelles, one of the artists who created numerous designs for Hermès.
Vauzelles was particularly known for her depictions of animals. Her creatures are not merely powerful and realistic; they possess a distinctive elegance and sense of refinement.
